Welcome our NEW RMT!

Emily Colvin, RMT

Stay tuned on her start date!

I am a recent graduate of Fanshawe College’s Massage Therapy program. Throughout my education and clinical experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals, including those experiencing chronic pain, athletes with sport- and activity-related concerns, and clients dealing with temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD/TMJD).

I have a particular interest in treating TMD/TMJD and have completed additional continuing education focused on massage therapy for temporomandibular joint dysfunction. I enjoy continuing to expand my knowledge and skills so I can provide thoughtful, individualized care to each client.

My approach to massage therapy is rooted in my passion for holistic health. Rather than focusing only on the area where discomfort is felt, I aim to understand how the muscular system works together as a whole. I believe that looking at movement patterns, muscular imbalances, daily activities, and other contributing factors can help identify what may be driving a client’s pain or discomfort.

My goal is to create treatment plans that address each client as an individual, helping them better understand their body, improve function and movement, and work toward lasting relief and overall well-being.
